Where???

Lamidan, Don Marcelino, Davao del Sur. The promise of three S’s --- sand, sea and seafood, hooked DXAB Anchor Randy Cañedo and DXAB Chief Andy Rara to go on a Holy Week break to Lamidan in Don Marcelino.

And truly, after a 5-hour road trip, the two guys with their families, discovered an unspoiled long stretch of black sand beach with white-capped waves and fresh seafood at rock-bottom prices. With local fishermen selling lobsters at Php70/kilo, octopus and squid at Php20-30/kilo and fresh fish at Php30/kilo, who wouldn’t be lured to this seafood paradise?

Just bring your tents as there are accommodations available. Knowing folks who live there is a plus so you can stay with them just like what Randy and Andy’s did. If you don’t have a place to stay in, swim all you can and eat all you can the whole day and go back to Malita where there are inns. Randy swears that it has been wort
