The Ruins is what remains of the Mansion of Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson. this Italianate structure is dedicated in loving memory of Don Mariano's wife, Maria Braga. The mansion served as the home of Don Mariano and his unmarried children until a tragic event took place which led to the existence of the Ruins. Find out first hand the rich history of this place during the colonial era and why it is considered THE TAJ MAHAL of the PHILIPPINES.
The Ruins is one of the romantic places I've been to. The best time to go there is at 4:00 PM when it is no longer hot. Stay until the night to see the wonders of this place as it changes its persona from day to night. Enjoy their food while enjoying the romantic ambiance.
