If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet, relaxing place and amazing view? I recommend BATANES... It was my first time go to Batanes just this January 2013. I've been seeing a commercial about that place in TFC... so i decided to visit the place... Since our whole family was going to the Philippines for vacation why not try to travel to BATANES.

The fastest way to get to Batanes from Manila was by plane. I took a flight (SkyJet Airline) to Batanes at 5:30AM and got there around 7ish AM. It was raining when the plane landed but it was only for few minutes. My friends picked me up from the airport to their wonderful home. They told me to wait for my tour guide. After an hour my tour guide picked me up to start our tour...

I was amazed by the view of the place... it was breathtaking scenery.... the places I've been such as Mahatoa view deck, Mahato hedgegrows, Batanes lighthouse, Marlboro country, Valugan beach, Ivatan church, Rolling Hills and many more including the Honesty Coffee Shop. We only took us 1 day to see the wonderful places in Batan Island.

Next stop was Sabtang Island. On this one, we had to ride a Faluwa which was a motorized boat. It took us around 30 minutes to get to Sabtang Island... My tour guide rented a motorcycle for us to ride around the island... The weather was fascinating and very warm.. The weather was just right to see the wonderful sceneries. I've seen the stone houses and the place how they made the houses with corals and stones. The locals were so friendly. My tour guide and i had some fresh coconut juice... Yummy...
I tried a Vakul headgear which they used for farming during hot or cold weather. Our last trip was in Nakabuang Beach and we had our lunch on a small stone house. We'd stayed there for couple of hours... Before and after lunch i went to the beach to check the spectacular white beach and the famous arch of Nakabuang Beach. I just sat and look at the blue sky, clear water and deep blue ocean... It was like I'm in the paradise... After relaxing we had to go back to the port and wait for our boat going back to Basco.

The three days I've stayed in Batanes was breathtaking, Fascinating, and the people were wonderful. I left my heart in The land of the Wind, Batanes. I will be back for sure... Next stop Itbayat island.
