The City of Mati offers beautiful landscapes and a number of beautiful resorts. Upon entering the City proper, you can see the magnificent views that really are God's creation, so wonderful! Mati is green and clean, people are really accommodating, polite and very humble. Worry nothing because they have everything! A mall, hotel, hospital, transportation, numbers of places you can visit, a Provincial Capitol and a Park rises atop the hill commanding a fantastic view of the Pujada Bay. And Mati's best, their Beaches. The most popular destination of people are Dahican and Masao Beach. Dahican is much nearer to the city compared to Masao. From Mati City proper, you will get to Dahican in a 20-25 minute ride. Easy access to transportation because as far as I know, you can rent a motorcycle ride going to Dahican. There are a lot of people who are visiting Dahican everyday and especially when there is a surfing competitions, frisbee's and even skimboarding competitions.
While in Masao beach, it's a bit far from the City and Dahican. It's on different ways. Since Dahican is on the left side, Masao is facing the right side of the Island. Which has no waves but I guarantee you the best place to go! It's like you're in Palawan because of the great view and clean blue bliss of the sea water. Masao is a 30-40 minute ride from Dahican and a one hour ride from the city proper. But when getting there, you will be amazed on what Masao offers. It's all worth it.
