One of our destinations in Luzon is to visit the place known as the “Palace in the Sky”. It is located in the beautiful place of Tagaytay. The mansion at the peak of the mountain was built through former first lady Imelda Marcos in 1979 as a guesthouse for Ronald Reagan who was a California Governor at that time but unfortunately did not arrive. In 1986, the place was named as People’s Park in the Sky after the People Power Revolution.

From the foot of the mountain, we decided to climb up to the top by ourselves, though there are available jeeps which some tourists prefer to ride. The fare costs P5 per head.

The pathway is not too steep but still we could feel the exhaustion in going up. We are almost panting and our knees are already trembling. When we reached the top most of the mountain, all of our as we see the breathtaking panorama of Tagaytay. The famous Taal Lake can also be seen.
