Facilities:
Six rooms built to a high standard, some with air-conditioning, one with a flat screen TV and DVD player with a sound system, the other rooms have a regular TV and DVD player. On site staff are always available at reception for booking, during your stay, and checking out. Cooking facilities is available in one kitchenette on one of the upper rooms. This is only by request at the time of booking. Daily housekeeping is available to attend to your room cleaning, assist with your cooking, washing and other details. It is included in the room price. We like to have long term bookings and this will provide substantial savings to you. We will accept short term bookings as well as casual bookings for part of the day. Chairs are available to take to the beach to sit and enjoy the sunsets or to observe the distant happenings of the local fishermen. The Sunday Flower can cater for small conferences, whether they be of a general nature, a healing nature, or a religious nature. Please ask at reception.
Bantayan Island:
It is really a world away from the busy hectic life of big cities. The people are friendly, and English is widely spoken and understood. Night life is what you make it, from bars and restaurants to quieter walks, we are sure you will find happiness on this tranquil island. Bartering is accepted, know your prices before you start anything. A journey by bike around the island is always a rewarding and interesting experience. There are many beautiful sites to see on the island which is great for the photo enthusiast. The freshest fish you will ever eat can be purchased from the fishermen on the island. A variety of fruits and local dishes are a delightful treat. The food here is safe, and plenty of bottled water is available. Santa Fe can cater for the young and the old; baby products such as food is available, the island is generally flat and there is always help available to assist with babies and toddlers. Wine is available at a premium, and beer is widely consumed. WIFI is available, though it is weather dependent at times. It has recently been upgraded to a stronger signal. Snorkeling equipment is available. All these activities can be arranged by the on site staff who will assist you at all times. Whilst we endeavour to always answer the cell phone, there may be times when we are out of range. If you arrive at the port, just get a tricycle and say Sunday Flower Hotel, if they do not understand you, or want to take you to another place ( where they get a commission) , jump out, and get another one.
