With a lot of variations of things to do in Mahagnao National Park, no doubt its one of the best place to visit when you come to Leyte.



;">Mahagnao National Park was established on 1937. Enjoy hot springs, lakes, flora and fauna and a lagoon to cool off from the tropical heat in this park. The national park also features craters and rocks in all colors. If you are into flowers, then you will be happy to find a large selection of orchids in this national park. It is a perfect place to take your whole family because you can find a large diversity of things to do.



Mahagnao National Park has surfuric Mahagnao volcano and twin-crater-lake of Mahagnao (cool) and Malagsum (warm). 



Situated 1,200 meters above sea level and surrounded by Leyte’s natural wonders, the park is listed as one of the protected areas identified by the International Union Conservation of Nature. 



The landmark to the park which is about 22 km away from the center of Burauen town, is a lake known as Malagsum Lake because of its green acidic water. 



According to the residents and some patronizers of the park, the hot spring can also heal various skin diseases.



Aside from the park,  Barangay Mahagnao, where Mahagnao National Park is located, also hosts multiple hot springs, a sulfur mountain, and waterfalls.
