The inviting infinity pool looking over the clear green-blue water of the sea and the cool fresh air... An overnight stay won't be enough when you get here.
The resort is a relaxing, tranquil place and away from the noisy city... It is a perfect place to be for people who want to get away from the busy corporate life even just for a day.
It is like you own a private resort. Perfect place for honeymooners too.
The resort got facilities and amenities that cater with the needs of its guests. One thing that I like about the resort too is their library. I would love to scour over the hundreds of books but sadly got no time to stop by or have even just one photo.
The rooms are amazing. They got several villas, suites, cottages and cabanas. You can choose a room with its own private pool or jacuzzi with a beautiful view of the sea.
You can also avail of their fun activities like diving, rappelling, snorkeling, kayaking, horseback riding and a cruise to the island's best kept secret, the beautiful Tambobo bay just nearby.
We got to ride their little horses. We even went to the shore but were not able to try walking on the beach because of the strong waves. The horses were kind of tired too that time so we didn't push them hard. Kayaking was a nice exercise too on its rough waves during that hour. We went to the beach early at around 7:00am-8:00am.
What I like most was the snorkeling activity. I like being underwater and it's a given I like being with the ocean's sea creatures. I see different small fishes and a few starfishes. Since we're only near the shoreline, I haven't seen much of what's in its waters. But I know that if we went deeper we could have encountered more of its beautiful underwater creatures. Maybe next time, I may get to dive in their waters too. I would have loved to see turtles, fishes and more colorful corals. The ones near the shore were mostly dead and grayish in color. One thing that entertained me was the clown fish living in its own anemone, not afraid of us taking pictures and video of him.
The place, I would say is not really for everyone, as it is a bit expensive. You can't bring your food and you have to order in their restaurant for your meals. An estimate of Php300 per meal per head would be a good budget.
What I commend most are the staff that are very accommodating and friendly starting from the front desk, care takers to housekeepers... everyone working in the resort.
The 10-hectare resort sits on a sheer cliff. To get to the sea one has to go down several winding staircases to the secluded white beaches strewn with large, natural rock formations. Once inside, you will surely get drawn to the infinity pool with a good view of the glorious sea.
How to Get There
From Manila, you can fly to Dumaguete (estimated cost of Php4,000++, round trip, one hour and 15 minutes).
Antulang is situated 40 kilometers south of Dumaguete City. A 1-hour to 1.5-hour drive by private car, it is already part of the municipality of Siaton, Negros Oriental.
