One Saturday morning, I and my friends decided to unwind for a while and snatch the waeriness out of us. We planned to go to a place where we can find peace and meditate on our mind burdens. After hours of brainstorming, we decided to go to Patio Victoria, a beach resort in Tacloban City.
Patio Victoria is the perfect place for its romantic setting by the beach and not only that, its variety of food is very affordable and delicious. Its entertainment facilities like the pool, jetski, volleyball and kayak, would definitely make guests and visitors come back again.
When we arrived there, we were happily greeted by the security men of the place. We immediately went to the seashore to enjoy the cool splash of water on our feet. Hearing the beach goers shout in laughter made us think that we will really enjoy our stay there. Flags of different radiant colors were also placed there to add life to the gray sand beach. With the clear and sunny weather at the resort, we decided to eat first at their restaurant before we relish the different entertaining facilities of the resort. When we went to the restaurant, the waiter greeted and welcomed us politely. He motioned for us to sit at the chairs near the pool. When we saw the clear water in the pool, we were so excited to swim that we
immediately called the waiter again for our order.
The waiters were very accommodating. They were civil in getting our orders, they even talked to us as if we were long time friends. Even if the other food were expensive, paying them was worth it because they were pleasant-smelling and had a pleasing taste that will surely boost your appetite.
After eating, we chose to have a tour or look at the whole vicinity of the resort. While walking, we noticed that the construction of the place was not finished yet. Despite this, the place still looked pleasing to the eyes. At that moment, our curious minds thought of something worthwhile to do when we were still there. We came to a decision to have an interview with the whole management of the resort. Luckily, they agreed with our proposition. We found out that they also cater to wedding by the beach packages, debut parties by the poolside, birthday parties of any theme, and other social gatherings and conferences. After a lively talk with them, we then enjoyed using all the facilities of the resort. We went home happy for we did not only enjoy our day, but we also met new friends during our stay.
Having experienced all those fun in just one day, we realized that we should be happy. Because vacations, even if they are just mini vacations, to be given the chance to get away for a little bit is such a rewarding experience. :)
