Please support the campaign of the Department of Agrarian Reform with Gawad Kalinga to improve the lives of farmers in Bulacan and neighboring provinces in Region 3 and make them the food basket of Metro Manila, being so close, with so much unused fertile land.

Join us on September 9 from 9am to 4pm in the first of our week-end countryside fairs at the GK Enchanted Farm in Barangay Encanto, Angat, Bulacan. Bring your relatives and friends with strong appetites for healthy and tasty food and money (and food containers) to shop fresh vegetables, fish, meat and poulty products and the best cheese, chocolates, jams and other goodies from our social entrepreneurs.

Our strategy for countryside development is simple: eat, shop, have fun, help end poverty.

There will be a live band for whole day entertainment, demonstration on cheese, chocolate, jam and pesto making and organic farming, mass at 3pm and a short program with DAR Secretary Gil de los Reyes and our local social entrepreneurs and foreign interns to discuss this daring initiative to help create jobs for our GK residents and improve the lives of 5000 farmers.

Let's support the effort of our government to improve our economy by promoting agriculture and social entreneurship and patronizing Filipino products.
