A jeepney is the most common and popular means of transportation in the Philippines. It is the cheapest transportation in getting somewhere. Anywhere in the Philippines, you can surely see a lot of jeepneys along the highway roads with their fixed route on the windshield or sometimes on the sides of the jeepney.  

What more about this popular transportation is their colorful and unique design, with matching cute and attractive ornaments hanging on windows and sometimes joyous music that captures the passengers’ heart while having a ride. And hey! It’s not air-conditioned and it just lets’ you breath fresh air.  

In riding a jeepney, you can just tell the driver where to drop you off and you can ask other passengers to kindly give your fare to the driver through saying, “Pakisuyo” with a smile. And through riding a jeepney, you can meet a lot of people from different walks of life!

Isn’t it nice to try not just our popular jeepney but also our popular expression, “Pakisuyo.”?
