Philippine Hotel Reservations Service organized the 2nd PHRS Boracay Beach Volleyball Open last November 16-18, 2012.
The tournament was open to both recreational and competitive volleyball enthusiasts featured the Philippine Beach Volleyball Association National Championship.
The 2 volleyball courts were located at the beachfront, in front of Summer Place and Le Soleil at Station 2, Boracay.
The 3 divisions of the tournament:
• The Philippine Beach Volleyball Association National Championship (Competitive)
• The San Miguel Fun Cup
• The Mixed Quattro Fun Division, open to both recreational and competitive volleyball aficionados
Registration fees collected for Men's A and Men's Fun competition is PhP 1,000 (or PhP 500 per player) while for the Mixed Division (at least 1 woman at field at all times) is PhP 2,000 (or PhP 500 per player). Substitute players for the Mixed Division were also required to pay the registration fee. Aside from the tournament entry, what's included in the registration fee are: 1 player's t-shirt and 1 free drink at the Players Party for each participant.

PBVA National Championship
• 3rd Runner Up - Green Blood (Angelo Espiritu and Arnold Laniog)
• 2nd Runner Up - Team Iloilo (Arnel Amadeo and Parley Tupaz)
• 1st Runner Up - ARMM Warriors (Halim Khan and Gabshar Tahiludin)
• Winner - Team Cebu (Jonrey Sasing and Edward Ybañez)
Most Valuable Players - the MVP Award for Sportsmanship, Fair Play, and Support were awarded in all 3 divisions.

• Mixed Quattro Fun Cup: Carol Bayon (Team Le Soleil)
• PBVA National Championship: Joerem Yu (Team Phoenix Cebu)
Prizes given away to the winners and participants are travel vouchers, goodies and up to PhP 100,000 worth of cash.
San Miguel Fun Cup
• Third Placers will receive PhP 3,000 worth of prizes
• Second Placers will receive PhP 6,000 worth of prizes
• Winners/Champions will receive a total of PhP 12,000 worth of prizes
Mixed Quattro Fun Cup
• Winners/Champions will receive a total of PhP 5,000 cash prize plus goodies
PBVA National Championship
• Third Placers will receive PhP 5,000 cash prize
• Second Placers will receive PhP 15,000 cash prize
• Winners/Champions will receive PhP 40,000 cash prize
All registered players received loot bags packed with gifts from the event sponsors, so no one went home empty handed.
