Every woman imagines THE perfect proposal, and every man triies to live up to said expectations. Patrick Opias got it all right and more.

Patrick's girlfriend of three years, Caleen Chanyungco, went biking to the Philippine Hot Air Balloon Fiesta at Clark Field in Pampanga clueless of the surprise that was coming her way.

When they reached one of the airline booths on the tarmac, Caleen was probably wondering why there were so many TV reporters and photographers looking and pointing their cameras at them. Her curiosity was quickly replaced by surprise when Patrick got down on one knee just as their family and friends appeared from a parked Airbus. He then popped the question and asked her hand in marriage.

With loved ones and the whole fiesta's eyes on her, Caleen shed tears of elation and surprise as Patrick presented her with a ring. And finally after a few minutes of composing herself, she said yes to a roar of approval from everyone present and sobs from the present lady media practicioners.

Asked what made Caleen the one, Patrick said that he used to not like traveling but because of her, he had grown to love it and that in these travels he found out a lot about her. And now they will be traveling hand in hand to the altar and will begin the journey of a life together.

The story of this young couple in love and a proposal that is hard to rival gives inspiration to people who

dreams of love and the lovelorn to believe in love. Romance is really a trait Filipinos are born with.

Proposals, more fun in the Philippines!
