Suman Binaki is made from grated young corn mixed with powdered milk, baking powder, sugar and water. It is wrapped in corn husk before it is steamed. For some it is more flavorful and filling than the suman made from rice.
It is believed that Suman Binaki got its name from its shape that resembles a frog’s legs. Baki is frog in Visayan.
Bonna Pamplona swears that this Northern Mindanao delicacy surely satisfies the hungry tummy.
