Durian is described as the fruit that smells like hell but tastes like heaven. It is used in various delicious ways for candies, cakes, ice cream or eaten fresh from its shell. One dish that satisfies the craving for durian is the Durian Cheese Cake.
This writer will share the no-bake way of making Durian Cheese Cake.
For the filling, separate the flesh of the durian from its seed. Mix it with cream cheese and all-purpose cream. Set aside. Chill.
For the crust, in a pan, melt butter over low heat and mix with ground Graham Crackers. Flatten on a pan, cover and freeze for 30 minutes.
When the crust is hard, pour the chilled filling then cover and freeze.
Serve cool.
