Guimaras is equivalent to sweet mangoes in the Philippines.

The perfect time to visit Guimaras is during mango season that starts during summer. The island celebrates Manggahan Festival too where you can buy mangoes at even cheaper price per kilo and you can have an eat-all-you-can mangoes.

A restaurant in Guimaras has experimented with the mango fruit. If you like pineapples in your Hawaiian pizza, you will surely love the mangoes on your pizza.

The mango pizza is thin in crust. It is topped with cream or cheese based sauce. And, it is garnished with mangoes, cashew nuts, green bell pepper and more cheese. You can sprinkle salt or ketchup according to your taste.
