Served in bamboo poles, the drink seemed harmless.  Once you take a shot of this cocktail, the slow fire burns.  Why would a chocolate drink make your body so warm so fast?

Kinutil or the Filipino version of the drink, Mudslide, for one, is not just chocolate.  It’s a blend of condensed milk, native chocolate (tablea), egg yolk, and tuba or Coconut wine.  If you want it sweeter, you can add brown sugar then stir or kutil, hence, it's name-  Kinutil.

This drink is perfect for a rainy day with bibingka or suman but just like any alcoholic beverage, always drink in moderation.
