Porky Best is a Davao grown company which started in September of 1977. It started with processed meats like pork chorizo, pork tocino and pork barbecue as their main products.
It then added chicharon (popping pork rind) which instantly became popular. In 2001, it cooked chicharon infront of the customer while waiting for 2-3 minutes. From then on, frying stations were opened in neighboring provinces.
In 2007, Porky Best launched Microwaveable Chicharon and is now a popular pasalubong within the country and abroad.
It retains its crunchiness and flavor just like the newly popped chicharon and is available in regular and “hot” flavors.
