A great discovery – this could well describe the delicious menu Chives café has to offer! Unlike the usual posh restaurants situated in the metro or urban streets, Chives is located inside the Central Luzon State University in Muñoz, a humble countryside city in Nueva Ecija.

Prof. Dana Vera Cruz, the chairman of the Department of Hospitality Management, manages the café along with the students taking up Hotel and Restaurant Management degree.

The food served was superb! The Singaporean noodles with chili paired with pizza croquette was very tasty. A forkful of noodle is best eaten with the special chili that gives it a great kick on your taste buds. While the pizza croquettes are very crunchy and cheesy!

The carbonara was creamy as well – the noodle was very tender and so good to much on, paired with the perfectly fried buffalo wings bathed in a sweet and spicy sauce.

The chicken burrito wraps are perfect for appetizers – matched with its special creamy dip with garlic – you’ll find yourself craving for more.

The best way to end the meal is through a soothing organic coffee. It’s being served cold and with just-right sweetness.

Every serving would satisfy you and your 2 other friends – for some 500 bucks all in all! You’ll have a good deal with your money! Plus, each bite of their yummy food also serves as a sign of benevolence to this state university and to their students!

According to Prof.  Dana Vera Cruz, even those from Cabanatuan would drive for an hour just to eat at their café. That simply imply that they are hooked as well with the food here that is really delightful!

Writing this article makes me want to come back and enjoy all the delightful goodness of Chives Café!
