Have you tried meatballs with vegetables?



Try this cheap yet delicious recipe. Your favorite meatballs with a twist that is something healthy.



Vegetable-Meaty Balls



Ingredients (Main Dish)
• 20 pieces quail eggs
• ½ kilo ground beef
• ½ kilo carrots, chopped
• ½ kilo cabbage, shredded
• ¼ kilo broccoli
• ¼ kilo cauliflower
• 2 cans all purpose flour
• 100 grams bread crumbs
• 3 pieces bell pepper
• 1 can small pineapple, crushed
• 1 big onion
• 5 cloves garlic, chopped
• 1 liter cooking oil
• salt and pepper to taste



Sauce
• 1 can pineapple juice
• 1 pack tomato sauce
• 1 box cream cornstarch



Procedure
1. Boil quail eggs, peeled and set aside.
2. Stir fry all vegetables, set aside.
3. Sauté garlic and onions.
4. Add ground beef, cook until tender.
5. In a mixing bowl, mix stir fried vegetables and sautéed ground beef. Mix thoroughly and form into balls.
6. Put quail egg inside each ball.
7. Cover each ball with flour and bread crumbs.
8. Serve with sauce.



To make the sauce
1. Dissolve cornstarch with pineapple juice.
2. Add tomato sauce and cook until thick.
