Puto is a traditional filipinino delicacy, it is originaly made of rice cake with cheese on top of it. But the young entrepeneurs of Cagayan de oro thought of answering the underlying  concern regarding of making original Kagay-anon delicacy which is healthy with a twist. Cagayan de Oro is famous for its White water rafting adventure but we kagay-anons are not just popular for its tourist attraction but food as well.

Cagayan de Oro introduces PUJIES "A Puto Pastel" , an original kagay-anon delicacy, enriched with carrots and squash, with 3 varieties of filling. Which can be Yema, Strawberry or Pineapple jam.

It was made by young entrepeneurs of Xavier University- Ateneo de Cagayan as part of their course requirements but with the right selling and marketing strategies it made a mark in the city's market.

It is now loved by kagaya-anons and tourists because it is now avaialable in chams convenience store and Lumbia Airport. It is also available for orders with free delivery within the City. And it is being served for pasalubong and special occasions.
