Tahong is known as Asian green mussel and is also popularly known as greenshell.



There are many ways in preparing this shell. You can cook it with soup like tinola, sauté it in garlic and onions, grill it, or bake it.



Here's an easy way how to prepare your Baked Tahong.



Ingredients
• 1 lb mussels, boiled and half
• 6-8 cloves of garlic, crushed
• ¼ cup butter, softened
• Cheese, grated



Procedure
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F
2. In a bowl, combine butter and garlic
3. Arrange mussels on the tray or baking pan covered with foil
4. Spread butter and garlic mix on the mussels, top it with grated cheese
5. Bake for 15 minutes.
