The beautiful Province of Laguna is celebrating the Festival of Life in its second year on April 20-29. Also called as the La Laguna Festival, it celebrates the festive spirits of the people of Laguna.
Major highlights of the festivities includes the Trade Fair Booth Competition, Land Float Competition, Fluvial Parade and the Street dance Competition, wherein representatives from the 26 towns and 4 cities of Laguna will compete and will showcase their talent for all the world to see.
The Dragon Boat race and the Banca Race will exhibit the outstanding boat riding skills of the locals, fishermen and seaside dwellers.
Another major event that is scheduled on April 29th is the Takbo Para Sa Lawa ( The Save Laguna Lake Run). Proceeds from the event will go to the benefit of the Laguna Lake Rehabilitation Program and the sports youth of Laguna.
