Holy Week. One of the most anticipated events in the lives of every Catholic. And Ibaan takes its part as well in commemorating the events that led everyone to their redemption and salvation. 

As early as Holy Wednesday, Station of the Cross is being done with a short procession around the municipality, primarily in Poblacion. Images and statutes depicting Jesus Christ's agony were brought along the procession. In Ibaan, century-old images were made part of the procession. These images were passed on from generations to generations to the family who were given the right keep them.

However, one of the most popular scene during the procession were the Rosary and the actual carrying of the cross by any Ibaeno. This year, with months before the Holy Week, more of this celebration will be seen.
