Fly me to the moon, or in this case fly me to the skies!

The 17th Philippine Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is in full blast and once again, the skies of clark are filled with colors and everything that flies. The opening of this year’s PHABF was a success and as promised, hot air balloons of different shapes and colors flew to everyone’s delight.

With the weekend coming up, it is expected that the number of visitors will double compared to the thursday and friday schedule of the fiesta. Balloons are inflated at 6 in the morning but it is advised to come earlier to avoid the rush of spectators flocking the event. There is a fee of 20php to 100php for the parking which depends on the type car you are driving. The entrance fee is 200php per person. Be sure to be in your comfortable shoes, preferably rubber shoes or sneakers and put on that sunblock to protect your skin from the heat of the sun.

You can also hop on a hot air balloon for 200 dollars per person. But if you are on a budget and want to ride for the experience, tethered balloons are ready to lift you up to the skies for 5-10 minutes for a fee of 600php. There are a lot of food concessionaires around, bringing packed snacks is also allowed.

Visit and witness the colorful balloons and everything that flies, as they take off and fill the skies of Clark! The Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is still open this February 11 to February 12! See you there!
