Zamboanga La Hermosa Festival 2011 or the popurlay famous as Fiesta Pilar, is taken in honor of the spiritual figure of Our Lady of the Pilar at the legendary Fort Pila. The people of Zamboanga fervidly believe that the lady has attended as their mixing cultural and previous symbol. In remembrance of her feast day, Zamboanga presentations its veneration and enthusiasm with a nine-night advancement, fireworks, an ethnic parade, a interpersonal show, a regatta, and the Miss Zamboanga parade. This festival goes from October 1 to 12.
