The Anubing Sublian Festival started a decade ago to preserve the devotion and tradition of the Mahal na Poong Sta. Cruz of Alitagtag and Bauan.

The two cross are alos know as the "Magkapatid na Poon" becouse the two cross are made from a local hard called "Anubing". the Mahal na Poon is known for protecting the towns of Alitagtag and Bauan from the eruptions of Taal Volcano.

The festivities start as th motorcade of the Mahal na Poong of Bauan goes to Barangay Concordia of Alitagtag. Here the Mahal na Poong of Alitagtag is waiting to meet the Mahal na Poong of Bauan. This is known as "Salubong ng Magkapatid ng Poong Sta. Cruz". When the Magkapatid na Poon meets, the greetings from the Parish Priest of Alitagtag welcomes the people of Bauan. After this the two crosses are placed in single decorated float to continue the motorcade leading to Binukalan, barrio of Alitagtag.

When the motorcade arrives at the front of Alitagtag Church, the Magkapatid na Poon are brought down to start the procession going to Binukalan Chaple, the crosses are shoulder boarded. Here the elementary students of Alitagtag dance the "Subli" as a way of homoring the Magkapatid na Poon. Bells are also ring to signify the arrival of the two Poon. Finally the procession end in the patio of Binukalan Chaple.

The two Poon are placed in front of th devotees. The "Lua" is given by lad either from Alitagtag or Bauan, following this is the dancing of Subli. After the dance, the Magkapatid na Poon are carried towards the door of the chapel here the base of the Poon are bathe in water. Then the Magkapatid na Poon are place in Altar for the

concelebrated Mass.

At the end of the Mass devotees flock the two Poon, many of them praying for the blessing and good health they received.

In the afternoon the Magkapatid na Poon are taken out of their andas(base) to see the Two crosses standing freely. Afterwards the Crosses are place in decorated float to start the motorcade going to Bauan. This motorcade last for hours, many devotess prepares flowers to toss on the Magkapatid na Poon. When the motorcade arrives at Manghinao Bridge(Bauan, Batangas). The Two Cross are shoulder boarded to start the procession going to Bauan church. Here the dancers of Subli, the Reina Elena, Government officials, Honor Guards from Bauan High school leads the procession. The pealing of the bells of Bauan signals the arrival of the Magkapatid na Poon. The patio is filled with devotees as the the Two Crosses arrive and placed on an Altar while the dancers prepare. The Subli of Sinala is offered to pay homage to the Mahal na Poon, after this the Mahal na Poon of Alitagtag bids farewell. The Mahal na Poon of Bauan stays and the Subli from all the schools of Bauan are offered.

The next day is the Feast of the Holy Cross, this is the fiesta of Bauan and Binukalan in Alitagtag. Alitagtag celebrates its fiesta annually on May 7.
